Barcelona Dominate Osasuna to Extend LaLiga Lead

Barcelona strengthened their position at the top of LaLiga with a commanding 3-0 victory over Osasuna, extending their lead over Real Madrid to three points.

Despite resting key attackers Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha, Barça quickly took control of the match. Ferran Torres opened the scoring in the 11th minute, converting Alejandro Balde’s precise cross. Dani Olmo doubled the lead from the penalty spot 10 minutes later, slotting home on a retake after his initial attempt was saved and an Osasuna player was found to have encroached.

Lewandowski, coming off the bench in the second half, sealed the win with a close-range header in the 77th minute, marking his 23rd goal of the season.

Osasuna struggled throughout the game, failing to register a single shot on target in the first half while Barcelona dominated possession with 78%.

With this victory, Barça extended their unbeaten streak across all competitions to 19 matches. “Every game is a final now. We handled this one well, secured the points, and move forward,” said Torres after the match.
