Australia Bans Extremist Zionist MK from Entering Country

Australia has decided to ban extremist Zionist MK from entering its territory to attend a Jewish community conference in the coming days, citing his support for the occupation and his dissemination of a culture of hatred and division, the Palestinian news agency WAFA reported on Monday.
The Australian Ministry of Home Affairs stated that it had “decided to ban the entry of anyone who spreads messages of division and hatred.” Australian Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke stressed: “The government will prevent any person who promotes messages of hatred and division from entering our country. If you come to Australia carrying such messages, you are not welcome here.” He added that the MK “will not be able to reapply for a visa for three years,” underscoring his government’s strict stance against any attempt to sow discord, in order to ensure that everyone feels safe in Australia.
The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates welcomed the Australian authorities’ decision, considering it “consistent with international law, human rights principles, resolutions of international legitimacy, and signed agreements,” describing it as “a step in the right direction toward achieving peace and resolving the conflict through peaceful political means.” The Ministry also called on all countries to “take further measures to stop incitement to occupation, hatred, racism, genocide, starvation of our people, and settlement activity,” stressing that such measures would help end Zionist aggression against the Palestinian people.
Earlier, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese announced that his country would officially recognize the State of Palestine during the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly, scheduled to be held in September. (WAFA)
