Attaf Receives Phone Call from Iranian Acting Foreign Minister

On Thursday, the Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, engaged in a crucial phone conversation with the Acting Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mr. Ali Bagheri Kani, according to a statement from the ministry.

The primary focus of their discussion was the ongoing developments concerning the Palestinian issue. This dialogue gains importance against the backdrop of the Zionist entity’s escalating policies, which aim to ignite conflicts across multiple fronts in the Middle East.

The ministers also deliberated on the severe repercussions following the recent terrorist act by the Zionist entity in Tehran. This attack tragically resulted in the death of Ismail Haniya, the head of Hamas’ political bureau.

Both ministers agreed on the critical necessity for intensified efforts by Arab and Islamic countries within various international organizations and forums. They emphasized the urgent need to compel the Zionist entity to cease its relentless aggression against the Palestinian people in Gaza.

Additionally, they stressed the importance of halting the Zionist entity’s repeated attempts to expand the scope of the conflict. Such expansions risk dragging the entire region into catastrophic wars, with dire consequences for all parties involved.

By addressing these pivotal topics, the conversation between Mr. Ahmed Attaf and Mr. Ali Bagheri Kani underscores the shared commitment of Algeria and Iran to achieving stability and peace in the Middle East.
