As a special envoy of the Algerian President, Saihi Received by Comoros President

In his capacity as the special representative of Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Minister of Health Abdelhak Saihi was welcomed on Thursday in Moroni by Azali Assoumani, the President of the Union of Comoros, according to a statement from the ministry.
During this visit, Saihi presented “a handwritten letter to the President of the Union of Comoros from his brother, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune,” the source indicated. This meeting provided an opportunity for both Presidents to “exchange fraternal greetings through the special envoy,” reaffirming “the strength of bilateral relations and their aspirations to enhance ties of fraternity and cooperation for the mutual benefit of both countries.”
Furthermore, during this meeting, which included the Algerian Ambassador representing Algeria at the Union of Comoros from Madagascar, emphasis was placed on “ways to support and develop these relations, particularly through enhanced training programs for Comorian students in Algeria,” as well as “the potential to expand cooperation into vital sectors such as fishing and agriculture, in the best interests of both nations.”
At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties “exchanged views on the major challenges and issues facing the African continent, underscoring the importance of joint action to achieve sustainable development,” the statement concluded.
