Algeria’s Mansouri Meets South Africa’s Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation in Pretoria

The Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, in charge of African Affairs, Selma Bakhta Mansouri, held a meeting with Thandi Moraka, the Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of the Republic of South Africa, in Pretoria, as reported in a communiqué from the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs on Wednesday.
The meeting occurred on the sidelines of Mansouri’s participation, in her capacity as Chair of the Focal Points Committee of the African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM), in the 4th Joint Retreat between the Peace and Security Council of the African Union and the APRM, which took place on Monday and Tuesday in Johannesburg, South Africa, according to the communiqué.
This meeting served as an opportunity to review the bilateral relations between the two countries and explore ways to strengthen them. Additionally, they exchanged views and analyses on several regional and international issues of mutual interest, the source concluded.
