Algeria’s Mansouri Discusses Development, Humanitarian Cooperation with Slovenian Official

Algeria’s Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, in charge of African Affairs, Bakhta Selma Mansouri, met Wednesday in Algiers with Mojca Seliskar Tos, adviser to the Slovenian Prime Minister for development cooperation and humanitarian aid, the foreign ministry said in a statement.
Talks focused on strengthening bilateral ties in the fields of economy, trade and investment, as well as exchanges on humanitarian and development issues, according to the statement.
Both sides welcomed the results of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune’s state visit to Slovenia in May, which they said gave “new momentum” to bilateral relations and deepened political consultation.
Algeria also praised Slovenia’s principled positions, notably its “steadfast support” for Palestinian rights and its efforts to promote peace, security and solidarity at regional and international levels, the statement added.
