Algeria’s Magramane Co-Chairs with Chile’s Deputy FM 6th Session of Algeria-Chile Political Consultations
The Secretary-General of the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Lounès Magramane, co-chaired on Thursday in Santiago, with the Under-Secretary for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Chile, Gloria de la Fuente, the 6th session of the Algeria-Chile political consultations, the ministry said in a statement.
The meeting reviewed the state of bilateral relations between the two countries and discussed ways to strengthen them at all levels — especially economically and commercially — to reflect the potential each country holds, the statement added.
The two sides also exchanged views and analyses on a number of international and regional issues of common interest, chiefly the developments in the occupied Palestinian territories and the question of Western Sahara, as well as multilateral issues such as the environment and the reform of the United Nations, the communiqué said.
