Algeria’s Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, the National Community Abroad, and African Affairs Ahmed Attaf received a phone call on Thursday from Belgium’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Affairs, and Development Cooperation, Maxime Prévot, according to a statement from the Algerian ministry.
The conversation provided an opportunity to review the progress made in implementing the decisions jointly taken during the Belgian minister’s visit to Algeria last July, which aimed to inject new momentum into bilateral cooperation, the statement said.
The two ministers also discussed ongoing preparations for upcoming bilateral events, the same source added.
