The World Bank (WB) has revised its 2026 economic growth forecast for Algeria upward, noting that the country stands out as an exception within the Middle East, North Africa, Afghanistan, and Pakistan (MENAAP) region.
In the latest edition of its Economic Bulletin for the MENAAP region, published on its website, the World Bank forecasts Algeria’s real Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth at 3.7%. This represents an increase of 0.2 percentage points compared to the forecast issued last January (3.5%).
