Algeria’s Council of the Nation to Join 1st Indonesia-Africa Parliamentary Forum

According to a statement issued by the upper house of the Algerian parliament on Thursday, the Council of the Nation will participate in the 1st Indonesia-Africa Parliamentary Forum, set to take place on September 1 and 2 in Bali, Indonesia.

“Delegated by the President of the Council of the Nation, Mr. Salah Goudjil, the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Commission and the National Community Abroad, Mohamed Amroune, will attend the Forum,” the statement noted.

This event will gather representatives from African parliaments alongside their Indonesian counterparts under the theme “Establishing a Parliamentary Partnership between Indonesia and Africa for Development,” the source added.

Participants at the Forum will discuss various topics, including “South-South Cooperation for Prosperity and Sustainable Development by 2030, building resilient communities through food security and health initiatives, and leveraging trade and investment opportunities to achieve comprehensive economic development,” the statement concluded.
