Algerian NPA’s Head Meets Oman’s Shura Council Delegation

ALGIERS, Oct 1, 2025 – The Speaker of the Algerian People’s National Assembly (PNA), Brahim Boughali, on Wednesday welcomed a delegation from Oman’s Shura Council at the Assembly’s headquarters as part of a training session organized by the lower house of Parliament, the PNA said in a statement.
The PNA noted that “this initiative is in line with the joint guidelines of the two institutions’ presidents during Boughali’s visit to Oman last year, and with the provisions of the memorandum of understanding signed between the two secretaries-general in Cairo in January 2025.”
During the meeting, the Assembly Speaker welcomed the Omani delegation, stressing “the depth of the fraternal relations binding the two countries and peoples, and reaffirming the shared will to strengthen parliamentary cooperation and exchange of experience in the service of common interests,” the statement added.
For their part, the members of the Omani delegation “expressed their gratitude for the warm welcome extended to them, considering this training session as a valuable opportunity to closely learn about Algeria’s parliamentary experience and to consolidate channels of communication between the two legislative bodies,” the PNA statement concluded.
