Algeria’s Army Chief Visits ADEX-2025 Defense Exhibition in South Korea
General of the Algerian Army Saïd Chanegriha, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defence and Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army (ANP), visited several stands at the “ADEX-2025” International Aerospace and Defense Exhibition in the Republic of Korea on Tuesday, the third day of his official visit, the Ministry of National Defence (MDN) said in a statement.
According to the statement, General Chanegriha toured a number of exhibition stands to review cutting-edge technologies, defense systems, and the latest industrial innovations presented by leading global companies in the defense sector.
The visit began at the stand of the South Korean company LIG, where he and his delegation attended a presentation on the firm’s latest innovations and its air defense and advanced technology solutions. The delegation also toured various sections of the stand and examined equipment and systems designed and manufactured by the company.
LIG executives expressed their willingness to strengthen cooperation with Algeria and to promote the exchange of expertise in areas of mutual interest, the statement added.
General Chanegriha then visited the KIA stand dedicated to special-purpose vehicles, where company officials presented the latest models and highlighted their advanced technologies and industrial capabilities.
The Army Chief and his delegation later met with representatives of Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI), where they were briefed on the company’s current and future projects.
At the end of the visit, General Chanegriha commended KAI’s achievements, emphasizing the importance of strengthening cooperation and expanding partnerships in research, development, and training, the statement concluded.
