Algerian Minister of State, Minister of Hydrocarbons and Mines, Mohamed Arkab, will undertake a working visit to the Republic of Niger on Monday, where he is set to hold meetings with the Nigerien side on the progress of the strategic Trans-Saharan Gas Pipeline (TSGP) project and strengthening mechanisms for coordination and consultation among the various stakeholders involved.
This visit is also part of efforts to review the latest developments in the activities of the Sonatrach Group in Niger, particularly with regard to monitoring the research and exploration project file of Sonatrach at the Kafra block oil field in northern Niger, the Algerian Ministry of Hydrocarbons and Mines said in a statement.
