Algerians Abroad Can Now Obtain Electronic Nationality Certificates Remotely

The Algerian Ministry of Justice announced on Tuesday in a press release that Algerians living abroad can now obtain their electronically signed nationality certificates at the nearest diplomatic or consular mission, eliminating the need for them to travel back to Algeria.

“As part of our ongoing efforts to simplify procedures and enhance remote judicial services available to citizens, members of the national community residing overseas can easily acquire their electronically signed nationality certificate through the nearest diplomatic or consular representation abroad,” the statement said.
