Algerian Products Fair in Nouakchott: Holding ACS inks export contracts with Mauritania

ALGIERS – Holding Algeria Chemical Specialities (ACS) has concluded, through its subsidiaries, three new commercial contracts with Mauritanian economic operators for the export of plastic and cardboard products and medical supplies, the public state-owned company said Wednesday in a statement.
The contracts provide for the export of more than 55 million units of products manufactured by companies affiliated to the group, namely DIPROCHIM (plastic products), SOCOTHYD (medical supplies) and TONIC INDUSTRIE (corrugated cardboard).
Signed on the sidelines of the seventh Algerian products Fair in Nouakchott, held on May 22-28 by the ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, the agreements were preceded by two similar ones in late 2024 and early 2025.
The new contracts, according to the ACS, show “the satisfaction of Mauritanian partners with the quality of the (Algerian) products and the professionalism of Algerian subsidiaries in terms of trade,” which has led to “the establishment of long-term relations,” the statement said.
