Algerian President, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, affirmed that the Gara Djebilet-Tindouf-Bechar western mining line is a major national project dedicated to exploiting the country’s abundant mineral resources.
During his periodic interview with representatives of the national media, broadcast Saturday evening on national television and radio channels, President Tebboune said this railway line “marks the beginning of a major national project aimed at harnessing the country’s mineral wealth” and represents “the first step toward Algeria becoming an emerging country.”
In this regard, the President expressed immense pride in the completion of this mining line, which was “achieved through national capabilities and in record time.” He added that the achievement confirms that Algeria is a “country of miracles,” despite “attempts to cast doubt on the national construction process.”
