ALGIERS, Sept 26, 2025 – Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune held his regular media Interview with representatives of the national press, which will be broadcast this Friday evening on national television and radio channels at 21:00 local time (20:00 GMT).
During this regular media Interview, the Algerian president addressed a number of national, regional, and international issues.
In this regard, the Algerian president affirmed that “the appointment of a prime minister who knows the field reflects complementarity and harmony with our vision.”
On another front, the Algerian president said: “We are in the process of reviewing the electoral law in some of its technical aspects.”
When addressing economic matters, the Algerian president stated that “the outstanding success of the 2025 Intra-African Trade Fair was due to Algeria’s great organizational capabilities.”
Regarding the decline in the inflation rate, the Algerian president said he was “proud of Algerian men and women who, thanks to their efforts, reduced the inflation rate to less than 4%.”
In this context, the Algerian president stressed the need to continue “modernizing and digitizing agriculture as a science and a technology,” affirming that if the digitization process is not completed by the end of the current year, he will take “radical measures.”
