Algerian President Receives Congratulations from Zambian Counterpart on Liberation Revolution Anniversary

ALGIERS – Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received congratulations from President of the Republic of Zambia, Hakainde Hichilema, on the occasion of Algeria’s commemoration of the 71st anniversary of the Glorious November Revolution.

President Hakainde Hichilema congratulated the President of the Republic, on his own behalf and on behalf of the Zambian people, on the anniversary of the immortal November Revolution, which represents “a symbol of the determination and resilience of the Algerian people,” the Algerian Presidency said in a statement.

He further highlighted “the strong relations of fraternity between the two countries and their joint work to face common challenges, particularly through the African Union (AU) and the United Nations (UN).”

The Zambian President also expressed “his gratitude for the strong support Algeria provides to Zambia, especially in the field of education,” wishing the President “good health and prosperity for Algeria.”
