Algerian President receives Cameroon’s Minister of External Relations

ALGIERS – The Algerian President, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received on Sunday Cameroon’s Minister of External Relations, Lejeune Mbella Mbella, who is on a working visit to Algeria, according to a press release from the Algerian Presidency.

The meeting was attended by the Chief of Staff at the Presidency of the Republic, Boualem Boualem, and the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf.

“I am here on a working visit to strengthen the ties between Algeria and Cameroon and to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two countries,” Lejeune Mbella Mbella said in a statement following the meeting.

In this regard, the Cameroonian Minister stated that the meeting with President Tebboune was “an opportunity to convey a message of sincerity and brotherhood from his counterpart, President Paul Biya of Cameroon,” adding that the Algerian President “expressed his desire to strengthen the partnership between the two countries in all areas.”
