ALGIERS – Algerian President, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, on Saturday paid tribute to the memory of the martyrs of the glorious National Liberation War at the Martyrs’ Sanctuary, marking the 71st anniversary of the outbreak of the November 1, 1954 Revolution.
The President laid a wreath at the commemorative stele and recited al-Fatiha, the opening chapter of the Quran, in memory of the martyrs of the National Liberation War.
The tribute ceremony was held in the presence of the State’s top officials and the Government’s members.
