Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune presided over the opening of the Government-Walis Meeting on Tuesday at the Palace of the Nations in Algiers.
Held under the theme “Local Communities: Drivers of National Development,” the two-day event is conducted under the patronage of the president. Participants will discuss mechanisms for achieving sustainable local development, addressing challenges in food and water security, creating wealth and job opportunities, digitizing and modernizing local public services, and urban planning to ensure a high-quality living environment.
