Algerian President Inaugurates Guetrani 2 Pumping Station and Wastewater Treatment Plant in Béchar

On Thursday, the Algerian President, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, inaugurated the Guetrani 2 pumping station along with the wastewater treatment plant in Béchar during his working and inspection visit.

This facility features a state-of-the-art tertiary treatment system that meets international standards, capable of processing 55,000 cubic meters of wastewater each day. The treated water, which is further analyzed in an on-site laboratory, is then transported to the industrial zone of Toumiat, located 30 kilometers away.
