Algerian President Awards Indian President with Honorary Doctorate

On Tuesday, Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune presented an honorary doctorate to Indian President Droupadi Murmu in recognition of her contributions to advancing higher education and scientific research. This honor also symbolized the strong friendship between Algeria and India. The award was handed to her by Kamel Baddari, Algeria’s Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

In her speech at the Abdelhafid Ihaddaden Scientific and Technological hub in Sidi Abdallah, President Murmu expressed heartfelt appreciation for the warm hospitality and commended “Algeria’s significant achievements in scientific research and social justice.”
