Algerian PM Opens High-Level Conference on Strengthening North Africa’s Economic Ties

Algerian Prime Minister Sifi Ghrieb chaired Thursday in Algiers the opening ceremony of a high-level conference titled “Connecting Continents: An Opportunity for North Africa to Strengthen Economic Relations with Europe, Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa.” The conference opening ceremony was held at Abdellatif Rahal International Conference Center.

It took place in the presence of senior State officials and government members, as well as Acting Governor of the Bank of Algeria Mouatassem Boudiaf and International Monetary Fund (IMF) Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva.
