Algerian PM Meets with President of Portugal’s Constitutional Court

ALGIERS – Algerian Prime Minister, Nadir Larbaoui, received on Tuesday the President of the Constitutional Court of the Portuguese Republic, José João Abrantes, who is on a working visit to Algeria, the Algerian Prime Minister’s Office said in a statement.

According to the statement, both sides expressed their satisfaction with the outstanding level of relations between the two countries, “rooted in the shared history of struggle that unites Algeria and Portugal.”

Both parties reaffirmed their “strong shared commitment” to further strengthening cooperation and partnership between the two countries, particularly through the implementation of bilateral programs and initiatives, notably the outcomes of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune’s state visit to Portugal in May 2023, the source said.
