Algerian Ministers Meet Slovenian PM to Boost Bilateral Cooperation

ALGIERS – The Algerian Minister of Health, Abdelhak Saïhi, and the Algerian Minister of Labor, Employment and Social Security, Fayçal Bentaleb, were received on Tuesday, in Ljubljana, by the Slovenian Prime Minister, Robert Golob, as part of their working visit to Slovenia, under the directives of the Algerian President, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the two ministries said in a joint press release.
This meeting is part of “the momentum created by the Algerian President, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and his Slovenian counterpart, Natasa Pirc Musar, to foster partnership between the two countries,” underscored the same source.
The exchanges focused on “the state of advancement of common projects in the fields of health, employment and social protection,” as well as on “the concrete mechanisms to widen this cooperation, notably through training and transfer of expertise,” noted the press release.
Building on the Algerian President’s commitment, both parties reiterated “the affirmed will to coordinate efforts for the medical care of Palestinian children injured in Gaza. This joint commitment, supported at the highest level of both States, mirrors an active solidarity in the face of international crises,” said the press release.
