Algerian Minister of Communication Delivers President Tebboune’s Letter to Ghanaian Counterpart

ALGIERS, February 7, 2025 – The Algerian Minister of Communication, Mohamed Meziane, delivered a handwritten letter from the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to his Ghanaian counterpart, John Dramani Mahama, on Friday in Accra, Ghana. This delivery was part of an official visit undertaken in his role as a special envoy of President Tebboune, as stated by the ministry.
“The Minister of Communication conveyed the fraternal greetings of the President of the Republic to his Ghanaian counterpart, underscoring the historic African values that unite the two nations, along with the bonds of brotherhood, solidarity, and cooperation between Algeria and Ghana,” the statement noted.
During this occasion, he assured Mahama of “the President’s commitment to strengthening and enhancing bilateral relations across various sectors toward broader horizons.”
For his part, “President John Dramani Mahama welcomed the special envoy’s visit to his country, which reflects the depth of bilateral relations,” the statement added.
In the course of their discussions, both parties emphasized the importance of intensifying consultations and coordination while unifying their positions and perspectives on international and regional issues of mutual interest.
The meeting took place in the presence of several senior officials, including the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Samuel Ablakwa, and the Chief of Staff at the Presidency, Julius Debrah, according to the statement.
