
ALGIERS – The Algerian People’s National Assembly (Parliament’s lower house) will take part, from October 7-14, in the annual meeting of the Fourth Permanent Committee specialized in special political issues and decolonization, to be held at UN headquarters in New York, the lower house said in a statement.
The lower house will be represented at this meeting by the President of the Algeria-Western Sahara parliamentary friendship and fraternity group, Miloud Tsouh, and the two deputies Hichem Benhaddad and Mohamed Ouakli.
The UN Fourth Committee is one of the main committees of the General Assembly, responsible for examining agenda items referred to it by the General Assembly.
