Algerian Holding SNS, Malaysian Lion Group explore partnership opportunities

ALGIERS – The Algerian Steel Company, the Holding SNS, and the Malaysian Lion Group explored, in Algiers, cooperation and partnership opportunities, the company said in a statement.

The meeting with the Malaysian delegation, led by the CEO of the Lion Group, Tan Sri William Cheng, was an opportunity to present and consider a series of promising industrial projects between the two sides and exchange views on partnership and common investment opportunities, to strengthen the industrial fabric and boost economic development in both countries,” the statement said.

The meeting, held in the presence of Malaysia’s ambassador to Algeria, Rizany Irwan Muhamed Mazlan, shows “the shared desire of the two sides to build a strong partnership in a strategic sector, especially the steel industry, which is an essential pillar for achieving industrial security and economic integration between Algeria and Malaysia.”
