Algerian Health and Mujahideen Ministers Attend 3rd Global Disability Summit in Berlin

Charged by the Algerian President, Health Minister Abdelhak Saihi and Minister of Mujahideen and Rights Holders Laïd Rebiga will participate in the 3rd Global Disability Summit, which begins this Wednesday in Berlin, Germany, as announced in a statement from the Ministry of Health.

During this three-day summit, the Health Minister will engage in discussions with representatives from various participating countries, particularly those from Africa and the Arab world. The discussions will focus on modern mechanisms and legal provisions that enable individuals with specific needs to fully enjoy their rights and access available facilities, considering global legislation as well as existing legal texts and regulations in Algeria. This topic is especially pertinent following the enactment of Law 25-01, which promotes and enhances the rights of this segment of society, according to the statement.
