Algerian Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Lounès Magramane, hosted Yang Wanming, the president of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC), at the ministry’s headquarters. Yang is on an official visit to Algeria from January 13 to 15, 2025, as stated in a release by the ministry on Wednesday.
During their meeting, the two parties discussed the strong partnership, friendship, and solidarity that bind the two nations, exploring ways to further strengthen these ties, particularly in the economic and cultural spheres. This dialogue was conducted in the context of implementing key decisions stemming from the state visit of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to the People’s Republic of China in July 2023, the statement concluded.
