Algerian Foreign Minister on Official Visit to Finland

Ahmed Attaf, Minister of State and Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, appointed by the President of the Republic, arrived in Helsinki this evening for an official visit to the Republic of Finland, according to a statement from the ministry.
This visit is part of ongoing efforts to enhance political dialogue between Algeria and Finland. The statement emphasized that “the aim of this visit is to strengthen bilateral cooperation, particularly in economic sectors.”
“During his stay in Helsinki, the Minister of State will hold a working session with Finland’s Foreign Minister, Ms. Elina Valtonen. He is also expected to meet with senior officials of the country,” the source added.
The purpose of this visit is to “inject renewed momentum into bilateral cooperation and strengthen ties between the two countries across various fields,” the ministry’s statement concluded.
