Algerian Foreign Minister arrives in Maputo for official visit

Algerian Minister of State and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, arrived on Monday in Maputo, for an official visit to the Republic of Mozambique, as commissioned by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the Algerian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

This visit is part of ongoing efforts to further strengthen the long-standing friendship and solidarity between Algeria and Mozambique, the source said.

According to the statement, Minister Attaf is expected to meet with the President of the Republic of Mozambique, Daniel Francisco Chapo. He will also hold a working session with his Mozambican counterpart, Maria Manuela dos Santos Lucas.
