The Algerian Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, held bilateral talks on Wednesday in Addis Ababa with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad of the Republic of Tunisia, Mohamed Ali Nafti.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the African Union Executive Council session, according to a ministry press release.
Through consultation and coordination, the two FMs “addressed the most prominent issues and files on the Executive Council’s agenda,” the same source noted.
The meeting provided an opportunity to “review joint efforts aimed at implementing the significant outcomes of the 23rd Algeria-Tunisia High Joint Commission.” These efforts aim to “continue advancing the bilateral partnership toward the ambitious goals set by the leaders of the two countries, the President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune and his brother, President Kais Saied,” the statement concluded.
