Algerian FM Reiterates Solidarity with Lebanon in Call with Lebanese Counterpart

Today, Ahmed Attaf, Algeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, engaged in a phone conversation with his Lebanese counterpart, Abdallah Rashid Bouhabib, who serves as the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.

During the call, Minister Attaf reiterated Algeria’s unwavering solidarity with Lebanon, emphasizing support during the challenging circumstances stemming from ongoing Zionist attacks that threaten the country’s security and stability. He also extended condolences and sympathy to both the Lebanese government and its people following the recent cyberattack, which led to numerous casualties and hundreds of injuries.

In closing, Minister Attaf assured his Lebanese counterpart that Algeria would persist in its efforts—as a non-permanent member of the Security Council—to advocate for Lebanon’s positions, sovereignty, and vital interests in response to the systematic Zionist escalation across various fronts in the region.
