ALGIERS – The Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, received a phone call on Wednesday evening from the High Representative of the European Union (EU) for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, according to a Ministry press release.
The phone talks provided an opportunity to discuss relations between Algeria and the European Union” and to “discuss the ways to boost them and therefore establish a balanced and mutually beneficial partnership,” said the source.
The two officials also discussed “developments in the Middle East, primarily the latest developments in sisterly Syria.”
