Algerian FM Received in Helsinki by Finland President

The Algerian Minister of State and Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, met with the President of the Republic of Finland, Alexander Stubb, on Thursday in Helsinki during his official visit, as reported by the ministry.

“Minister Ahmed Attaf conveyed greetings from President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to President Alexander Stubb, expressing a desire to continue collaborating to strengthen the friendship and cooperation between our two countries,” the statement indicated.

The meeting served as an opportunity to explore “ways to fulfill the shared commitment of both leaders to promote political dialogue and enhance bilateral economic partnership,” the source added.

Additionally, both parties “exchanged views on the growing challenges facing the international community and discussed prospects for contributing to efforts aimed at preserving the multilateral system,” the statement concluded.
