Algerian FM Meets with His German Counterpart in Brussels

Ahmed Attaf, the Algerian Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, met with Germany’s Federal Minister of Foreign Affairs, Johann Wadephul, on Wednesday in Brussels. This meeting occurred on the sidelines of the 3rd European Union – African Union Ministerial Meeting, as noted in a communiqué from the ministry.

During their discussions, Attaf congratulated his German counterpart on his recent appointment as Foreign Minister and explored various aspects of the cooperative and friendly relations between Algeria and Germany, looking ahead to future bilateral engagements, according to the statement.

The two ministers also addressed regional and international issues of mutual interest.
