Algerian FM in Uganda for Official Visit as Special Envoy of the President

Ahmed Attaf, the Algerian Minister of State and Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, arrived in Kampala, Uganda, on Thursday evening for an official visit as the Special Envoy of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, according to a communiqué from the ministry.

This visit “aims to enhance privileged bilateral relations and reinforce the traditions of high-level consultations between the two brotherly countries,” the statement noted.

“The Minister of State will meet with the President of Uganda, Mr. Yoweri Museveni, to whom he will deliver a letter from his counterpart, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune,” the source further indicated.

Additionally, Attaf is scheduled to hold a working session with his Ugandan counterpart, Haji Abubaker Jeje Odongo, as stated in the communiqué.
