Algerian FM Holds Talks with Qatari Counterpart Ahead of Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit

On the sidelines of the upcoming emergency Arab-Islamic summit, Algeria’s Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, the National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, held bilateral talks on Monday morning in Doha with Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani.

During the meeting, Attaf reaffirmed Algeria’s full solidarity with Qatar following the Zionist aggression it faced, and reviewed with his counterpart the diplomatic efforts coordinated between the two countries at the level of the UN Security Council in response to this attack.

At the bilateral level, the two sides discussed various aspects of the distinguished relations of brotherhood and cooperation between Algeria and Qatar. They praised the high level these ties have reached, thanks to the attention and care of Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune and Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
