Algerian FM Begins Official Visit to Switzerland On Behalf of President

Mandated by the Algerian President, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, arrived Wednesday evening in Bern for an official visit to the Swiss Confederation, according to a ministry statement.

The visit aims to “inject new momentum into Algerian–Swiss relations across their political, economic, and human dimensions,” the statement said.

During the visit, “Mr. Attaf will hold talks with several Swiss officials on ways to consolidate and strengthen bilateral cooperation,” the same source added.
