Algerian FM Attaf Received by Belgian PM in Brussels

The Algerian Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, was received on Tuesday evening, in Brussels, by the Belgian Prime Minister, Bart De Wever, as part of his official visit to the Kingdom of Belgium, the ministry said in a press release.

In this regard, Attaf conveyed, according to the source, the greetings of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to the Belgian Prime Minister, as well as his aspiration to continue joint work with him in order to impart further momentum to the partnership between the two countries.

For his part, the Belgian official conveyed his greetings to the President of the Republic through the Minister of State, and expressed his commitment to continuing to develop bilateral relations, added the source.

“The meeting provided an opportunity to highlight the significant progress made recently in consolidating the economic partnership between Algeria and Belgium, and to explore ways of building on these achievements to take bilateral cooperation to even higher levels, ones befitting the considerable potential both countries hold, and in keeping with the longstanding bonds of solidarity, trust and mutual respect that have defined their relationship,” according to the press release.
