ALGIERS, Oct 2, 2025 – Algeria’s Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, the National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, on Thursday received at the ministry headquarters the Secretary General of Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed bin Hassan Al-Hammadi, the ministry said in a statement.
The meeting reviewed the outcomes of the second session of political consultations held earlier the same day, co-chaired by the secretaries general of the two countries’ foreign ministries, the statement noted.
On this occasion, both sides welcomed the “exceptional results achieved in strengthening the bonds of brotherhood and partnership between the two brotherly countries.”
They also stressed the need to continue joint efforts to raise bilateral cooperation to the level of the ambitious goals set by the leaders of both nations, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune and Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, according to the statement.
