Algerian Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs Ahmed Attaf laid a wreath on Monday morning at the memorial dedicated to the victims of the Croatian War of Independence.
The ceremony took place at the start of his official visit to the Republic of Croatia, the Ministry said in a statement.
The statement emphasized that the Minister of State’s commitment to this established protocol in Croatia is “part of honoring the historical relations between the two friendly nations.” These ties “date back to the period of the Croatian people’s support for the Algerian Revolution, as well as the contribution of Croatian friends to national reconstruction efforts during the early years of independence,” the Ministry added.
