Algerian Army Chief of Staff Congratulates Participants in Military Parade

General Saïd Chanegriha, the chief of staff of the Algerian People’s National Army, on Monday held a ceremony at the Ministry of National Defense in honor of senior officers and staff who participated in the grand military parade marking the 70th anniversary of the outbreak of the Algerian Revolution. The event was attended by senior officials, including the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Defense, commanders of military regions, national gendarmerie and police officials, and heads of national security services.

During the ceremony, General Chengriha delivered a speech on behalf of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, congratulating the participants for their dedication and effort in making the parade a success. He highlighted that the event showcased the high standards of the Algerian National Army and served as a proud reminder of Algeria’s glorious revolution. He stressed that the military parade, which included land, air, sea, and air defense forces, was designed to honor the 70th anniversary of the nation’s independence struggle and to pay tribute to the sacrifices of those who fought for Algeria’s freedom and sovereignty.

General Chengriha also emphasized the importance of strengthening Algeria’s defense capabilities and security resilience, in line with the vision of President Tebboune, who has shown a strong commitment to the national memory and the preservation of the country’s independence and values. He concluded the ceremony by personally recognizing the efforts of the officers and staff who contributed to the success of the parade, renewing the country’s commitment to the memory of its martyrs and its ongoing pursuit of national unity and progress
