Algerian APN to Participate in the 82nd Session of the UPA

A delegation from the Algerian National People’s Assembly (APN) will attend the 82nd session of the Executive Committee of the African Parliamentary Union (UPA) and the 46th Conference of Presidents of National Parliamentary Assemblies, scheduled to take place from October 5 to 9 in N’Djamena, the capital of Chad, according to a statement released by the lower house of the Algerian parliament on Friday.
The APN will be represented at these two events by Wassila Tayeb, President of the UPA Women’s Parliamentary Committee, and Bouguettoucha Zakia, a permanent member of this committee, as noted in the statement.
The agenda for this session will include reviewing committee reports, adopting draft resolutions, developing the agenda for the 46th Conference of Presidents of National Parliamentary Assemblies, and approving the report from the 82nd session of the UPA Executive Committee, the statement indicated.
