Algerian and Turkish FMs Discuss Partnership and Gaza Ceasefire

Algerian Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, held a phone conversation with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on Tuesday, focusing on bilateral relations and regional developments.
According to Algeria’s Foreign Ministry, the discussion centered on strengthening the Algerian-Turkish partnership in preparation for the third session of the Joint Planning Committee. Both sides emphasized the importance of deepening cooperation across various sectors.
The ministers also exchanged views on the situation in the Middle East, particularly efforts to solidify the ceasefire agreement in Gaza. The call reflected ongoing diplomatic coordination between Algiers and Ankara amid escalating regional tensions.
