
ALGIERS – The Algerian President, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received a phone call from the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, in which he extended to him and to the Algerian people, on his behalf and on behalf of the Iranian people, his best wishes on the occasion of the blessed Eid Al-Adha, the Presidency of the Republic said in a press release.
For his part, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune congratulated President Masoud Pezeshkian and the Iranian people on this occasion, wishing Iran more prosperity and welfare.
During the phone call, the two presidents discussed “the bilateral relations that unite the Algerian and Iranian peoples and ways to develop them in the economic, political and cultural fields.”
They also underscored “the regional and international developments, notably the Palestinian cause, where they agreed to continue joint efforts to lift injustice from Palestine and Gaza and end the genocide against the brotherly Palestinian people.”
The two presidents expressed “their will to work together in order to establish and maintain international security and stability,” according to the same source.
