Algerian and Egyptian FMs Discuss Bilateral Ties and Middle East Developments, Including Syria

Algiers – Ahmed Attaf, Algeria’s Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and National Community Abroad, held a phone conversation with his Egyptian counterpart, Badr Abdel Atty, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Migration.
The discussion focused on strengthening bilateral relations following the official visit of Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to Egypt last October. The ministers explored mechanisms to implement agreements and deepen cooperation between the two nations.
In addition to bilateral ties, the ministers reviewed the latest developments in the Middle East, with particular emphasis on the situation in Syria. Both sides expressed a commitment to fostering stability and promoting peace in the region. This call underscores the importance of collaboration between Algeria and Egypt in addressing shared regional challenges.
