Algeria, Zimbabwe Hold 4th Session of Joint Cooperation Commission

ALGIERS   – the Secretary of State to the Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs, in charge of African Affairs, Bakhta Selma Mansouri, co-chaired on Wednesday the opening of the 4th session of the Joint Cooperation Commission between Algeria and Zimbabwe, alongside Zimbabwe’s Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Albert Chimbindi, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Prior to the session, Mansouri officially welcomed Chimbindi, and the two officials held bilateral talks on the state of Algerian-Zimbabwean relations and ways to strengthen and expand them.

The statement added that both parties reaffirmed their commitment to establishing a strategic partnership based on mutual interests that supports development goals and African integration.
